11th Philippine Food Expo 2012

The only All-Filipino Consumer event in the country, the Philippine Food Expo is now on its 11th year. The biggest umbrella organization of food manufacturers and exporters, Philfoodex Inc. is taking the lead in establishing programs and activities that will promote international business ties ensuring self-sufficiency for local growers, manufacturers and exporters.

The underlying thrust of the Philippine Food Expo has always been to highlight the importance of the deferent sectors involved in the manufacturing and development of export-quality food products – from ingredients, high technology processes, food safety standards and manufacturing practices to creative packaging and marketing ideas.

With this in mind, the 11th edition of the Philippine Food Expo will take on the theme: “From Farm to Fork, the Whole Food Journey”.

Together with various government agencies and food and export industry associations, the event will showcase manufacturers of products of interest of the world’s biggest markets for imported food.

The concept will be in line with the new features that will be implemented for the event, which includes a Cottage Industries Pavilion and Industry Clusters with the following industries targeted to be invited: Coffee, Chocolate, Mango, Coconut, Organic, Condiments, Snacks and Beverages.
